When your Multi-currency Cash Passport Prepaid MasterCard® has expired, you may be able to take the Card and valid photo ID back to a participating US branch of the Purchase Location to redeem your funds and obtain a new Card.
Please check with the branch at the time for more information on any applicable exchange rate and fees, and whether redemption is available.
Cash Out and Close (Before Card Expiry)
If your Card is still valid but you would prefer not to keep it for another trip, you can withdraw your remaining balance (assuming it is within the ATM's issuing limits) from an ATM displaying the MasterCard or Maestro® Acceptance Mark or Accel™ logo.
Remember, you can also move the Foreign Currency funds on your Card into your USD Currency, so you can continue to use the Card when you return from your travels. A foreign exchange rate will apply when transferring funds from one Currency to another. See the Fees and Limits tables for more information.
If you prefer, you may take your Multi-currency Cash Passport Prepaid MasterCard (and valid photo ID) back to a participating US branch of the Purchase Location and they will refund your remaining balance, less any fees. Payment will be in US Dollars and the exchange rate will be applied by the branch. Please note: not all branches will offer this service.
Alternatively, you can contact Card Services, and have your balance (less any fees and subject to exchange rates) refunded to a US personal bank account in the name of the registered cardholder only. Please see your terms and conditions for more information.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards
If your Multi-currency Cash Passport Prepaid MasterCard is lost, stolen or damaged, contact Card Services immediately, so they can cancel it and offer further assistance, including a free* Replacement Card or emergency cash replacement up to the available balance on your Card (subject to availability in the relevant location).
Rest assured, your balance is chip and PIN protected and if you have an Additional Card, you can still access your funds with that Additional Card.
