Here's how the travel money card works...

Easy to manage

Simply add one or more of the following Currencies to your Multi-currency Cash Passport: British Pounds Sterling, Euros, American Dollars, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars and South African Rand. Your convenient prepaid travel money card can then be used at more than 2.1 million MasterCard cash machines, over 35.9 million locations worldwide and online where the MasterCard Acceptance Mark is displayed.

Keep your Card topped up and it’s ready for the next trip abroad.

..and this is what makes it smart

Wherever you are in the world, your Multi-currency Cash Passport always knows which Currency to use. If the local currency isn't one of the Currencies on the Card or if you don't have enough of the local Currency on your Card, it will use your other Currencies to pay the bill! If this happens, you will be charged a foreign exchange fee, so try to keep your travel money card topped up with the Currency(-ies) of your destination(s). The fees and limits table has more information.

Keep your travel money safe

Safe + Secure

The Multi-currency Cash Passport is a safe and smart way to carry your travel money and a great alternative to traveller's cheques.

If your Card is lost or stolen, we can offer you emergency cash (up to the available balance of your Card) within hours, depending on your location and availability of our money transfer network, or a Replacement Card within 2-5 working days.

The Card is chip and PIN protected, but unlike your debit card has no links to your bank account, helping to further protect your money.

You can manage your money online...

Easy to budget

Log in to 'My Account' and check your Currency balance(s), view your recent transactions and move money between Currencies.

…and spend it online too

You can also use your Card for online shopping, great for spending any left-over foreign currency!

Remember that if you are shopping online in a currency other than one of the Currencies on your Card, or you don't have enough of the local Currency on your Card, you will be charged a foreign exchange fee.
